Žacléř – Chelmsko Slaskie – Krzeszów - Žacléř

An interesting cycling route to the neighboring Poland, where you will pass several interesting historical landmarks. Thanks to low traffic and good roads, the circuit can also be enjoyed by sports-oriented road cyclists. From Rýchorský square, you will head towards the Královec border crossing. Next is Lubawka and the first turn to Chelmsko Slaskie. It is worth mentioning there is a square with burgher houses and the baroque church of the Holy Family, which is one of the most beautiful in Lower Silesia. A little further on (heading for Mieroszów), you will find the Twelve Apostles. A set of buildings built for Czech weavers (1707) is among the ten most interesting wooden architectural monuments in Poland.You will then pass through the municipality of Laczna, and at about 25 kilometers you will leave the direction of Mieroszów. After a sharp left turn, in the municipality of Gorzeszów, you will pass the eight-meter sandstone formation known as the Devil's Hammer and soon arrive at the Cistercian monastery complex in Krzeszów, the most significant monument in the surrounding area. The seventy-meter towers of the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary are visible from afar. Through the municipality of Jawiszów, the route will return to Chelmsko and in the opposite direction to Žacléř. An alternative return route from Krzeszów could be the shorter way to Lubawka via the village of Lipienica, or the longer one through Kamienna Góra.
