Start and finish at Mambach village square

Follow the yellow signs 'Zell8'!

Cross the B 317 and the bridge -- turn right and after about 200 m turn left -- at the end of the village turn left towards Pfaffenberg -- steep climb to the Bergklause car park -- below the car park turn right onto a flat farm track -- after about 500 m turn left uphill; after 300 m turn left again onto a paved road -- steep climb up to Gasthaus Schlüssel; turn right towards the village centre; at the village fountain turn left -- after 300 m turn right towards Fröhnd -- after about 1 km turn left -- steep climb!! - at the top turn left to the hamlet of Käsern - ride through - then turn right twice -- also right at the water reservoir -- next junction turn left uphill - right past the hunting lodge -- at the top go straight down to Wolfsacker -- at Wolfsacker keep right -- at the next turn go left uphill and then right again -- 'Grenzweg' of the former Vorderösterreich border -- steep climb to Hofer Kreuz -- at the cross turn right along a farm track / Descent! to the connecting road -- here turn right -- 500 m to Fröhnder wind turbine -- descend towards Oberhepschingen -- after about 300 m take the second right -- at the junction with the Wolfsacker - Oberhepschingen route turn left downhill into the valley -- at the next fork follow Schweineweg towards Tannenboden -- do not ride as far as Tannenboden -- at Wintermättle head towards Oberhepschingen and then onto Rütteweg to the paved Oberhepschingen - Pfaffenberg connecting road -- sharp right -- back to Pfaffenberg -- ride through -- towards Atzenbach; 500 m below Pfaffenberg turn sharply left down towards Bergklause-Maria Frieden - to Mambach - to the village square
