Kohlbach-Ohmbach-Runde - Kohlbach-Ohmbach-Runde

The Kohlbach and the Ohmbach are two tributaries of the Glan. At Bruchmühlbach-Miesau, the Kohlbach coming from Schönenberg-Kübelberg flows in from the left, and at Elschbach it receives the Ohmbach. Both streams originate at the border between Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, between Frohnhofen and Langenbach. The 36.2 km circular route first follows along the Ohmbach up to the heights above the Ostertal, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the North Palatinate Hills to Sickinger Höhe, and returns on the 'Kirschroute' cycle path through the Kohlbach valley to Schönenberg-Kübelberg.
