Osrednjeslovenski trikotnik med Savo, Soro in Ljubljanico

The cycling route takes you along three beautiful Slovenian rivers, the Sava, Sora and Ljubljanica, and through three municipalities in the Central Slovenia statistical region: Medvode, Ljubljana and Dol pri Ljubljani.

Starting point:

Since the cycling route is circular, you can start at any location on the route that is closest to you. Due to its scenic nature and parking options, you can choose the confluence of the Sava and Sora near the Municipality of Medvode in Medvode or the Ljubljanska Špica.

Points of interest along the way:

The cycling route leads past Lake Zbilje, Smlednik Castle, Šmarna gora and Rašica. Just a stone's throw from the route are the memorial houses of Franc Rozman Stanet and Jakob Aljaž. Below the castle, the path runs along the confluence of the rivers Sava and Ljubljanica.

In Rožna dolina, you can combine the cycling trip with a visit to the Ljubljana Zoo and/or the picturesque city hill of Rožnik.
