About This Route

<span style="font-size: small; color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;">Von Sandino führt der Weg zunächst nach Isabel Rubio, hier biegt man gen Osten auf die Carretera Central. Man durchfährt nun das Haupt-Tabakanbaugebiet Cubas mit den markanten Trockenscheunen, aber auch viel Obst und Gemüse wird hier angebaut, die Erzeugnisse kann man für wenige Pesos am Straßenrand kaufen. In San Juan y Martinez kann man noch einen Imbiss nehmen. Bis Pinar del Rio nimmt der Verkehr merklich zu. Etwas außerhalb an der Straße nach Vinales liegt der Campismo „Villa Aquas Claras“</span>
