Start am Wanderparkplatz südlich des Ortes, dann Umrundung des Berges mit einem Abstecher zum Seismik-Zentrum der Uni Leipzig. Über die Serpentine hoch zum Gipfel, optional mit Aufstieg auf den Albertturm, danach Abstieg in Richtung Wermsdorf. Im Anschluss noch eine kleine Runde zu interessanten Stellen (alter Steinbruch, Franzosenbrücke, wüstes Schloss Hayna und 1000-jährige Linde im Dorfzentrum)
