Males-Istro leichte Route mit super Blick und Stärkung

Starting at the viewpoint above Males, continuing through Anatoli to Kalamafka. If you strongly feel the need to use your legs, you can tackle the slightly more than one hundred steep steps leading up to the mountain chapel high above the town, which, once you have reached the top, leads down into the mountain via steps. Shortly thereafter, following the small hill, there is a nice opportunity on the right to refresh yourself with typical Greek cuisine or just have something cool and enjoy the view from the mountains once again. After Kalamafka, a short but absolutely worthwhile climb follows, crowned by the Two Seas viewpoint. Marked by signs and recognizable by a parking lot located right in a rather sharp 90° left turn. Simply park the bike there, follow the footpath, accept the 100-meter walk, and reward yourself royally. This view compensates for the temperature and any hardships and is definitely one of Crete's absolute highlights. Back on the bike, immediately in the next left turn on the slope on the left side there is an aviator monument. The route goes downhill towards Prina, which, if you are not interested in the chapel there, can be passed on the left. Then on to Kalo Chorio and directly onto the main road of Istro. Turn right, and after just under a kilometer, you can enjoy the view of Mirabello Bay with an ice cream or a radler, or directly take a detour into the (usually) refreshing water.
