Von Opladen zum Altenberger Dom und zurück

This route starts at the Leverkusen-Opladen station, passing through Rulach to Balken, from there through the Muhrtal valley to the Diepentalsperre dam. After the only brutal ascent over 100 meters (I would push there), it unfortunately goes some kilometers along the federal road through Burscheid to Sträßchen and Balken, before you can leisurely roll your bike down the serpentine roads to Altenberg. Don't forget to enjoy the original Bergische waffles at 'Küchenhof' next to the Altenberg Cathedral! The rest of the tour goes flat through Odenthal, Paffrath, Schlebusch, and Alkenrath back to the Opladen station.
