Leoben i.K. - Treffling - Millstatt - Altersberg - Leoben i.K.

Mainly federal and state roads, with state roads being lightly trafficked and federal roads mostly heavily frequented. There is also a short stretch of forest with a simple singletrail. You may need to push a bit in some sections. Leoben-Gmünd: Federal road to Gmünd. Tempo, tempo ;) generally goes slightly downhill. Gmünd-Perau: Ascent to Perau. From Perau, a very nice Nockbike path below the Trefflinger state road. After crossing the stream, a short very steep singletrail ascent. Perau-Treffling: Back on the state road, descent to Trasischk and then into a headwind ;) until Treffling. Treffling-Millstatt: From Burg Sommeregg to Laubendorf, alternating gentle ascents and descents. Then a super beautiful fast descent with about 200 meters of elevation down to Millstatt. Millstatt-Lieserhofen: On the bike path along the lake to Seeboden and then on the relatively busy federal road from Seeboden to Lieserhofen. Lieserhofen-Altersberg: Continuing on the Katschberg federal road to the turnoff to Altersberg. Steep ascent to the intersection of Trebesinger state road / Altersberg, then a comfortable part until Trebesing. Altersberg-Gmünd-Leoben: A quite pleasant section with short climbs through Trebesing and back to Gmünd by bike. And finally, a few gently rising km on the Katschberg federal road back to Leoben.
