S Wilhelmshagen - Seelow - S Strausberg Nord

The S-Bhf. Wilhelmshagen is still in fare zone B and the route to Erkner is quite good. In Erkner, many drivers are disturbed, but after a few km there are almost none left. Behind Fürstenwalde, there are really beautiful villages, although probably hardly anyone lives there anymore. In Seelow, it's better not to have lunch at 'Crocodil' (the gas station just before Neuhardenberg shone with exceptionally friendly service). The Seelow Heights memorial feels a bit like a (small) combination of the monuments at the 17 June Street & at Treptower Park, and in my opinion, it’s not really worth it (however, we did not visit the museum). Next to the B167, there is often a good bike path, and the section B167 to Reichenberg offers a lovely gentle ascent. Ihlow and its western surroundings, on the other hand, offer cobblestones that apparently haven’t been renovated since the last millennium. We actually wanted to ride further but after that we had enough... Besides Ihlow, the route is absolutely suitable for road bikes.
