Darfeld - Schloss Valar - Rosendahl - Darfeld

A small circuit that starts in Darfeld. Past the Darfeld Castle (which can only be visited from the outside), part of the route goes along the cycling path to Valar Castle. The castle is also only viewable from the outside but offers a charming sight during the blooming season of the rhododendron. On the way from Darfeld to the castle, there is a small interesting exhibition area from a stonemason. Here, a real artist is at work. Absolutely worthwhile exhibits. At the Valar-Schänk, one can stop by on weekends. We were there on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, it was still closed. From the castle, we continue back to Rosendahl. In Rosendahl, there is no small bakery café where one can stop. Overall, a cozy round.
