Wutach-Tal

Very nice road cycling route at the westernmost tip of the Southern Black Forest. Just right for many climbs and really good descents.

My personal favorite is the descent right after Blumberg, reaching peak speeds well over 90 km/h.

Starting in Hilzingen, you pass through beautiful towns like Blumenfeld, Tengen, Randen, and Blumenberg. Here, the steady ascent is generously rewarded.

Then you go through the - seemingly painted - Wutach valley. Before it gets quite serious again towards Bonndorf.

In Wellendingen, you must not miss the turn-off to the right towards the panoramic road, otherwise, you won't get such a beautiful view.

Upon arriving in Stühlingen, it gets more relaxed until you reach Schaffhausen, where you can also admire the Randen beautifully on the left side.

From there, you continue to Gailingen. Here there is another small climb over Rauhenberg.

Via Gottmadingen, you then head back to Hilzingen.
