Ruta del ubierna

Route of not much distance but of considerable hardness, in a leg-breaking terrain where I recommend a high development mainly due to an ascent. We will start the circuit from Burgos leaving through the Villalonquejar industrial estate in the direction of Tardajos on flat terrain where the wind can be detrimental. We will continue to Las Quintanillas to turn towards Pedrosa de Río Urbel where we will chain two consecutive climbs, the first of about 2 km tough to descend to Marmellar de Abajo and climb a wall of 500 meters where the gradient will be 15% upwards. We will descend towards Mansilla to turn right in the direction of Celadilla de Sotobrin to there climb another slight incline of two km that can be climbed with the big chainring. From there we will descend in the direction of Quintanaortuño (beware of the crossing) to head through Rioseras towards Vivar del Cid having climbed a small rise in Celada de la Torre. We will return by the main road towards Burgos entering through Sotragero and making a loop via Villarmero and through the industrial estate heading to the Osan Pedro de la Fuente district where we will go up to the castle via the Corazqas and after passing the pave make the final climb to Cerro San Miguel and finish at the top of this on a steep although short ascent.
