About this route
Starting point: parking Passhöhe. Below the B317, turn onto the unpaved path heading south towards the intersection to Menzenschwand. Long descent towards Menzenschwand. In Menzenschwand, head towards Sägerei and St. Blasien. At the L146 intersection, head towards Bernau Kaiserhaus, then to the Krunkelbachhütte (good place for a meal). From the Krunkelbachhütte, follow the hiking trail towards Herzogenhorn. Here, the bike must be carried in places (about 400m). The path runs past the holiday village back to the B317. A very nice leisure ride with lovely views and places to stop.
