Pleßenduro

The tour starts in Kaltenborn and leads through the training area to the Alten Pleßhaus, then towards Steinsee over the Hirschwand. Here is the first and hardest of 3 descents. Afterwards, it goes past the Steinsee to the Pleß. After a short beer break, it continues over single trails to the Alten Pleßhaus. You leave that on the left and then continue to Bocksberg, where the 2nd descent awaits you down into the Polsambach. In the Polsambach, you turn left again and ride back up the mountain to the Himmelsleiter. There, the 3rd descent awaits you down to Schönsee, where you can take a swimming and beer break in nice weather. Then it continues in the direction of Urnshausen. Just before you come out of the forest, you turn left again and ride back up the mountain to the Himmelsleiter, from where you ride back down to the Pleß (beer break). Afterwards, you pass by the Alten Pleßhaus again on your way back to Kaltenborn. A moderate level of fitness, a suitable mountain bike, and at least a helmet are required for the tour. With a bit of local knowledge, the tour can definitely be further developed.
