A very beautiful hilly itinerary between Monferrato and Langhe, especially after Nizza Monferrato and arriving in the city of Alba to visit. Here there are numerous cultural and food and wine villages, including Alice Belcolle, whose surroundings have vineyards, Mombaruzzo famous for its amaretti, Quaranti for the bubbly Brachetto wine, Nizza Monferrato famous for the cardoon, Canelli for its historic center and for important Moscato wineries, Santo Stefano Belbo, the birthplace of Cesare Pavese, the charming village of Mango, Barbaresco, a village producing Barbaresco wine, and Alba with its historic center and numerous monuments. The area is very touristy, especially in Langhe, so roads can be crowded, especially the provincial ones and the larger cities. The Langhe is also known for its exquisite hazelnuts. The itinerary is not difficult, just need to be a bit fit because some climbs are very steep, but overall it is pleasant to traverse these roads.
