About this route
Offizielle Route des Landkreises Vechta - Symbol "Kirche".
Die Route beginnt in Bakum und führt nach Vestrup, über Lüsche und Carum zurück nach Bakum. In den kleinen Dörfern und Ortschaften haben die gläubigen Einwohner der Region Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts begonnen kleine Kirchen aus Backsteinen und Sandstein zu bauen. Die Architektur birgt Stilelemente der großen Dombauten. Innen sind diese liebevoll und mit zahlreichen Details gestaltet.
Die Tour führt über gut ausgebaute Fahrradwege, ein kleiner Teil Landstraße. Die Gegend ist typisch landwirtschaftliche geprägt mit großen Feldern mit Korn und Mais und jeder Menge Bauernhöfe.
