That the Netherlands is truly a country full of water, you'll learn on this route as well. The Wilhelminakanaal begins at Zuid-Willemsvaart in Laarbeek and runs through to Amer near Geertruidenberg. You'll cycle this route along a small section of this 68-kilometer-long canal. Additionally, in Nuenen, you'll find the Opwettense Watermolen, which has the largest waterwheel in all of the Netherlands. If you follow the stream Kleine Dommel upstream, you'll then find the Collse Watermolen. Both of these watermills became very well-known after Vincent van Gogh painted them. In the town of Nuenen, you'll encounter various buildings or landmarks that Vincent van Gogh painted in the past.
