Via Ferrata Dinara Ošljak

This is a Via Ferrata trail.

This is an excellent ferrata. Also a quite difficult one. And a long one. The way down is also very long.

The first segment between the end point to the start point represents the path done by car from the main road to the end of the asphalted road.

Important note: I recommend being careful on the way down. The markings are really poorly done and the signposts are misleading. I lost the path and wasted about a couple of hours on the way down.

Markings are faded and far away from one another, making them hard to follow. Markings are red-with-white.

Supposedly there is a faster way down towards the left, as you exit the ferrata itself. I didn't follow it; instead I followed the long (and easier) way down. But you walk a lot.

Beware of timing - if you enter the ferrata itself later than 9am / 10am, you will have problems with the timing and you will need to run down the mountain.

Bring a lot of water! And a GPS.
