Hochobir Tour

Beautiful mountain tour on asphalt. I recommend riding this tour by mountain bike due to the steepness of the ascent. The cycling path to Bad Eisenkappel leads over Eberndorf, Gösselsdorf, Sittersdorf, and Miklauzhof, or you can ride over Turner Lake and St. Primus. Before Bad Eisenkappel, turn right and after about 2 km, it goes right again (towards Eisenkappler Hut), and the 13 km ascent begins. After about 1 h 30 to 1 h 45, you will have completed the ascent and reach the Eisekappler Hut at 1,553 m. At the hut, you can recharge your energy reserves while enjoying the magnificent view of the Steiner Alps. On the descent, I made a small loop through Ebriach, and from the Eisenkappler Hut to Miklauzhof, you roll down smoothly all the way.
