Le Beaujolais - Les crus du Beaujolais - Boucle 5.1

This sector will take cycle tourists to the heart of Beaujolais. Straddling mountains and vineyards, the loops of sector 6 promise all cyclists to find their happiness, on loops that are both accessible and challenging. On the sporting side: a 40 km route through the territories of the crus of Beaujolais, without major difficulties, except for the climbs (accessible with good management) on Chiroubles and after Fleurie. Chardonnay is also part of this wine terroir but remains confidential. In the southern part of the region, red, rosé, and white wines from the two AOPs Beaujolais and Beaujolais Villages are produced. The latter extends north and joins the ten crus: Brouilly, Chénas, Chiroubles, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie, Juliénas, Morgon, Moulin à Vent, Régnié, and Saint-Amour. Distinct, the 'Beaujolais Nouveau' reveals its mischievous spirit to celebrate its international release in November.
