Loja-Minas de Garcel - Riofrio-Loja

Today a short route, but quite complete. Departure from Loja Cammino de Ventas de Santa Barbara, on the road, passing by Llano Piña. Today there are no stops, but what a fresh beer and great food they have here. We continue to Ventas de Santa Barbara and take the roundabout towards Riofrio, but we deviate onto a path to the right, which leads us up a very bumpy ascent to the Minas de Garcel. Once we reach the hut, to the left there is a very narrow and sometimes technical path, which I partially walked because it runs alongside a small ravine, and on the third snag with a tree, I preferred to get off. After that, we connect with a wider path that takes us to Riofrio, there we climb up to the Hotel La Almazara, and return to Loja via the path that runs parallel to the highway and passes by the service area of Los Abades.
