Vom Camping Arrighi zum Capo Focardo

The starting point - and also the finishing point - is the 'Camping Arrighi in the Bay of Barbarossa.' From there, the route goes through the town of 'Porto Azzurro' and continues on road SP26a to the turnoff to 'Capoliveri.' Here, you ride approximately 200 m on SP 31 southwards and then turn left onto 'Località Gualdo' heading towards 'Capo della Tavaola' down to the beach. From there, after about 60 m, turn left southwest into the 'inland' towards 'Lipitino' and 'Castagni.' In Castagni, turn left and head back northeast to the destination point 'Forte Focardo.' The return trip is along the same path back to Castagni, then follow the road into 'Capoliveri' until SP 31. Here, turn right and ride about 800 m north to the 'municipal cemetery.' Turn right here and ride up a very, very steep road south until you reach the 'Strada Provinciale SP 31' again. Turn right here and follow the road to 'Porto Azzurro' and from there continue to the starting point 'Camping Arrighi.'
