Ebing - Scheßlitz - Ebensfelder See - Ebing

Opposite the Ebingen train station, there is an unpaved but well-traveled path leading up into the foothills of the Steigerwald. It goes up and down hills, but always ascending through pretty villages. A detour to Sassendorf is definitely worth it! A great view is guaranteed! Scheßlitz is very lively, but it also offers all shopping opportunities. The following villages, Schweisdorf, Kleukheim, and Prächting, are beautiful. Further downhill, you should definitely stop by Lake Ebensfeld - pure idyll. The route back to Ebing along the riverbanks of the Main is then a relaxing reward after the initial effort. A fantastic tour! With the aforementioned detours, it's about 8 km longer.
