Nach Venedig

The last day of our tour is rather exhausting. Although we cycle long stretches along rivers and streams, they meander so much that it’s hard to cover many kilometers. The alternative is unpleasantly busy roads, which we increasingly rely on to eventually reach our destination. The cities we pass through also seem to literally drown in car traffic.

However, the bridge to the old town of Venice is an impressive and crowning finale — with our goal in sight, we pedal the last half hour through the evening dusk.
