About This Route

Turn hard right in Caurita up Bancal road. Left at top. Dirt all the way. This is the El Tucuche trail. At the "Rest House" (only the sign remains), turn right down single track. Soon you start using parts of old plantation trail. In places overgrown or minor landslides block trail. Steep "short cuts". Fun downhill if you are on the ball. If the old plantation trail were to be renovated it would make a great 2-way trail. As it is, only one-way. 3 to 4 hours.
