Petzen Rundtour

Very nice cross-border tour over the Luscha saddle to Slovenia and back. The ascent to Luscha is about 9 km long and has a height gain of 700 meters. Most of the ascent takes place in the shade. On the Slovenian side, you descend into the Topla valley and ride along the Mezica river towards Crna. About 1 km before Crna, turn left up to Kote. This ascent has a height gain of 400 meters and goes up to 1,035 m. The route is very well signposted on the Slovenian side. You follow the tour marked "Peca" (Petzen). Through the border crossing Raunjak you return to Carinthia and go back to Klopein passing through the towns of St. Georgen, Feistritz, Pirkdorf, Globasnitz, and Eberndorf.
