Prächtige Audienz am Kaiserstuhl

The route deliberately does not take the shortest path to include as many of the particularly charming passages of this dreamily beautiful region in a single 'audience round'. After all, the emperor does not have time for too many appointments with the 'common folk of the bike community' ;)

The terrain offers everything from flat to hilly, to challenging climbs on the Tuniberg and over the Texas Pass (up to 10-12% gradient over a few kilometers). All beautifully packaged in the finest and most picturesque vineyards north of Brenner.

Anyone who wants to spare themselves the tough section over the two passes is welcome to do so. It is deeply human - and at the junctions of the loops always possible. But in doing so, you miss the most beautiful panoramas of the entire region. They are indeed located in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl between Oberbergen, Bickensohl and Achkarren. So better to fight through humbly! And enjoy like an emperor! ;)

Warning! The elevation is rather in the direction of 900 to 1,000. The Bikemap calculation algorithm is a bit too optimistic here! ;)
