Southwark Cyclists Healthy Ride
Start Dulwich Park, then up to Dawsons Heights for the view. Next across to Dulwich Hamlet football stadium and down Greendale to Dulwich Village. Continuing south past Dulwich Picture Gallery and Dulwich College to the only Toll Gate in London. Then loop up to Kingswood House, aka Bovril Castle, back through Bel Air Park, on to Herne Hill Velodrome, and back to Dulwich Park. An easy 2 hour ride. - Pavilion Cafe, Dulwich Park - Great views north to central London - Founded 1893, one of the oldest clubs in the country and still going strong. - The picturesque heart. - Internationally famous - Nigel Farage is a product - The only one in London? - Also called Bovril Castle from the castellation installed by former owner, the inventor of Bovril - Always something happening at this famous venue. -
