LLUÇANÉS Santa Margarida de Vinyoles - Alpens - Sora

Magnificent route to get to know this beautiful corner of Lluçanés. The route starts in Montesquiu, the ascent begins after 3 km, when taking a turnoff from the Sora road. The climb is very rocky due to the large amount of stones, which makes the ascent very difficult due to the lack of traction from the wheels. It would be worth looking for an alternative track. Once at almost 1100, you cross Sant Sadurní de Sovelles where it is worth seeing the church. Then the ascent towards Santa Margarida de Vinyoles begins, crossing meadows and paths full of livestock and with a surprising lushness. Highly recommended. We descended via the GR-1 (only a part, because most sections are not cyclable) and a path that took us to Alpens. Finally, descent to Sora via a magnificent path (The Sora path) that goes left off the road heading towards Prats de Lluçanés.
