Fr: Münster - Kruth -Münster

Anyone who loves long climbs and descents should definitely cycle in the Vosges. This ride starts in the picturesque village of Munster at about 350m altitude. Through a marked bike path behind the train tracks, you enter the lovely valley of the La Fecht river. In Metzeral, the steep and long climb towards the Route des Crêtes begins. The effort is rewarded with views from the top of the Route des Crêtes at about 1200m. For this loop, we descend again at Le Markstein towards Lake Kruth. Captivated by the many waterfalls along the road, it is pleasant to climb through all the hairpin bends towards La Bresse and finally back to the Route des Crêtes. A detour to Le Hohneck is of course always possible. With some beautiful views from the Col de La Schlucht, it is easy and prolonged to descend towards Munster.
