Calaveras bike path across Stockton

Stockton's bike path : no motor vehicles, bikes own it ! From Waterloo Road to start of bike path at Cherokee, just back streets with very little traffic. West of Buckley Cove along the north side of the deep water channel, traffic is very light , scenary is nice (water channel to the south and delta fields to the north), but pavement is a little rough at times.On the way back you can add 3 more miles by taking River Road, south of the Calaveras River at Pershing Ave to I5 and back : No cars allowed for the first 1/2 mile then smooth pavement and very little traffic until I5.
