Carzano- Forte Leone - Arsiè Runde (89 km)

This tour was supposed to take me to Forte Leone today. I originally wanted to go straight down to Primolano in the Brent valley afterwards, but I decided differently. The weather was overcast with a maximum of 15 degrees, a bit better in Arsiè. I was of course on my E-MTB, but it can also be done with a trekking bike, though without E power, you need some fitness. The entire route up to the Forte is sometimes varied and sometimes boring; I had headwinds and without the motor, it wouldn't have been possible. You can only enter the Forte with registration, but going around it is enough. After Arsiè, it goes down quite a bit, and unexpectedly you come across an abandoned house, a colonia, an impressive architectural structure, unfortunately in decay. In Arsiè, I realize I have been there before, and now I'm making up for what I missed back then, I ride the path along Lago di Corlo to the bridges. It’s really incredible there. But it was already after 4 PM, and if that bike path to the Brent valley doesn’t work out (see closure of the VCA), I would have had a serious problem, both time-wise and battery-wise. But it worked out well; it's a fantastic route to Primolano, where it was already 6 PM and I finally switched to turbo, leaving me with 20% battery, which was just enough, even though I had to take a detour around Primolano, as I couldn't take the field path because it was completely flooded.
