Wandeling Vossenack 15,3 KM

The walk starts at the church in Vossenack, where there is ample parking space. We completed the route on December 29, 2022.

Along the way, we saw more than 15 beaver dams.

About 1.5 km before the Mestrenger Mühle, the route turns left and leaves the mountain bike trail. Unfortunately, the bridge that should be about 100 meters after the turn was washed away, so due to the high water level, we could not cross. The alternative is not to turn left but to continue on the mountain bike trail. This also leads to the Mestrenger Mühle.

The Mestrenger Mühle restaurant is unfortunately closed. The first coffee and cake can be found in Simonskall. We recommend Café Kern!

After Simonskall, the route heads uphill, and once at the top, it is worth pausing briefly at the war cemetery where German soldiers are buried.

All in all, a beautiful walk.
