Beginning at the train station in Großheringen, follow the Saaleradweg through Kaatschen, Kleinheringen to Bad Kösen. Past Großjena along the Unstrut, passing Freyburg to Zsheiplitz. Here you can take a good break at the Zeddenbach mill. From there, the Hasselbachtalradweg begins. This cycle path is very demanding (long climbs) and offers no refreshment options. Mariental is the end (beginning) of the Hasselbachtalradweg. On the country road, it goes to Eckartsberga towards Eckartsburg. There are also some climbs here. Then it goes over Auerstedt to Bad Sulza. This cycle path is poorly marked and hard to find. In Bad Sulza to the Ilmtalradweg and then back to Großhringen. The route depicted here covers 69 KM!
