Vom Campingplatz zum offiziellen Beginn der Bahntrasse, Chiesa di Santo Spirito, wundervolle erste Kilometer bis knapp vor Venzone, vor und nach Venzone, leider sehr schlechte Verhältnisse. Bei Carnia über den Fluss und einer Straße mit wenig mot. Verkehr für 10 Kilometer folgend, schön zu fahren mit einigen Tunneln bis nach Campiolo. Nochmals Wechsel auf die linke Flussseite, wo die Bahntrasse beginnt und erst in Tarvis endet.

In Österreich ist der CAAR sehr schlecht geplant und führt sehr fantasielos direkt neben der stark befahrenen B83.

Am R1 C bis Faak am See, durchschnittlicher Radweg, Kombination aus Radweg und kommunalen Wegenetz.
