Rofrio-Venta Rayo-Venta la Leche-Zafarraya- El Respetao-Riofrio

Morning ride at 8:00 in Riofrio. Today with the road bike and my friend Jesus, with the mountain bike, this way we level up and I don't fall behind too soon. Climb to La Almazara, short but very tough, to connect with the road of the Montes de Malaga, where we start a gentle but very long climb to the Alto de la Venta de la Leche. We descend El Respetao, which we'll have to climb back later, and arrive at Zafarraya, and we take a small detour to see the Boquete de Zafarraya and take a photo, an eleven-kilometer pass that climbs from Axarquia. Another day is pending to do the route of El Puerto del Sol and then climb this pass. Then we return to Zafarraya, Ventas de Zafarraya, and Pilas de Algaida, to Almendral and back to Zafarraya. We climb the Alto del Respetao, with two pretty tough kilometers and the rest a bit easier, and once we finish the pass, a very long descent back to Riofrio. Today very tough, as there was a lot of headwind. We talked about it and it almost felt like the return downhill was harder than the ride uphill. So, a good long-distance route, with two pretty good climbs and back home, after 80 km in good company.
