Quer durchs Mansfelder Land

This cycling tour starts at the Eisleben train station and first leads to the district of Wolferode, located a few kilometers away. It then continues through the Mansfelder Grund, where in addition to many spoil heaps, there are also very beautiful churches to admire. After some time, you leave the Mansfelder Grund to visit significant industrial monuments, namely the Schmid Shaft and the Ernst Shaft. The route continues through Helbra and Benndorf to Klostermansfeld, where you can admire, among other things, a 30-meter-high water tower. It then passes through Thondorf, Hübitz, and Volkstedt back to Eisleben, where you can also visit the beautiful old town. From there, it is only about a kilometer to the Eisleben train station, where this loop started and which is also the endpoint.
