Von Wipperfürth zum Schloss Gimborn und zurück

From the starting point at the Klingsiepen industrial area, this tour initially follows the route 'Over the Heights of Wipperfürth' until just before Marienheide.

Before the steep descent into Marienheide, turn right at the crossroads towards Siemerkusen and head down to Gimborn Castle. This well-preserved castle serves as a conference venue and is not open to the public.

In front of the castle is the small castle café, where it is common to take a break with coffee and cake on the terrace.

The shorter return route starts directly to the right of the café and rejoins the route from the starting point at Grünenberg.

A longer route leads via Frielingsdorf, Hartegasse, and once again Ommerborn back to the starting point.
