About this route
Starting from Oberndorf Bentwisch (parking on site), the circular route first heads along the Deutsche Fährstraße towards Geversdorf, passing Osterdeich. Before Portschemm, the route turns towards Morstrich and travels through typically northern German landscapes to Rönndeich near Osten. From there, it leads back along the Fährstraße to Osten to the national monument 'Schwebefähre Osten-Hemoor' and then along the dike back to Oberndorf Bentwisch.
The route is no longer signposted. A new, signposted route proposal is expected to be established in 2018.
