Poiano Resort - San Zeno di Montagna

➡️ Going via Poiano Resort or the alternative 'Via Fioria' is a more scenic option than taking the winding road from Garda to Costermano.

⬆️ The initially rough track later becomes paved and climbs to the left at around a 12% gradient.

➡️ If needed, you can continue here on the cycle path towards the shopping centre.

⚠️ Take care when turning right onto the main road!
➡️ Climb briefly, then descend to the roundabout → take the 3rd exit
➡️ At the next roundabout → take the 1st exit on the right

🌿 After that, the route towards Caprino di Veronese becomes noticeably quieter again.

➡️ In Caprino di Veronese, ride towards Lumini.
⚠️ Despite the light traffic, always keep well to the right – some vehicles travel quite fast here.

➡️ At the entrance to Lumini, turn right and follow the signs towards Prada,
until you reach a junction with a long bend.

➡️ There, turn right towards San Zeno di Montagna.

🔁 Variation

➡️ Towards the end of San Zeno di Montagna, you can avoid the winding road.

💡 The route leads through the hidden cluster of houses at Spighetta.
👉 From the opposite direction, you can better appreciate how demanding the climb is.

⚠️ Check the route regularly – vegetation can make many paths misleading.

⚡ If you stay on the wide road, you can build up a good speed.
⚠️ Brake in good time on the long straight to avoid missing the descent towards Albisano / Torri del Benaco!

➡️ A few bends later, a sign reading 'Spighetta' indicates that you need to turn diagonally across the road onto the farm track.

🌾 Ride across a meadow and follow the cart track to a property.
⬇️ From there, a steep descent leads down to Albisano.

👀 Magnificent views open up repeatedly along the way.

➡️ Then follow the road towards Garda until the turn-off for Marciaga.
