A fantastic itinerary

From Hotel Cepina, you follow the cycle path along the Adda river, passing by the old iron foundry of Premadio. Well, the warm-up phase is over. From here, you climb from 1300 m in the locality of Fiordalpe with a steady gradient up to Cancano at 1900 m, a calm but constant ascent. From the Fraele towers, an excellent starting point for the less trained, you pass the Cancano dams, with a few flat kilometers and a couple of small climbs to warm up the muscles. At the end of the second dam, turn left onto the mule track towards Val Trela, a charming route, short but tough especially towards the end. An unprotected passage through a wild gorge gives a small adrenaline rush to the less accustomed. This is the gateway to Val Trela which opens enchantingly before your eyes. Val Vezzola is the valley that gently rises on the left for about a hundred meters up to the Bocche di Trela; the path is barely visible and in some sections, debris forces less experienced mountain bikers to dismount. End of the climb.

A balancing-act single trail of a few kilometers connects to the road of Pedenosso, Fiordalpe, Premadio, Bormio, Cepina. See you at the hotel for a rich snack.
