About This Route

Deze 47 km lange fietsroute met vertrek in Diksmuide verkent de vallei van de Krekebeek. Zij vormt samen met de Handzamevallei een oostelijke uitloper van het IJzerbekken. De tocht start in Diksmuide en het gaat door een stuk broekland richting Koekelare waar de klim van de Ruidenberg wacht. In Kortemark kom je terug in het Krekedal en langs de terugweg fiets je nog langs diverse charmante, ingeslapen dorpjes zoals Werken, Houthulst en Klerken.
