Windheim-Kreuzberg

Start at the village square in Windheim, take the Klingen path to the right towards Hetzlos.

From Hetzlos continue towards Schönderling/Neuwirtshäuser Forst until the 'Red Cross'; here, turn right onto the forest track, then at the next signposted junction turn right towards Singenrain > Geroda. In Geroda, follow route 6 until the Würzburger House. From the Würzburger House, follow the red or black triangle signs to the basalt works. From the basalt works head to the Kissinger Hut > Guckaspass > Kreuzberg Monastery.
