Boucle du Lac

This well-known circuit among the residents of Vichy (especially popular with joggers) uses the two bridges connecting Vichy (right bank) to Bellerive (left bank). To clarify the mystery before setting off, the 'lake' of Vichy is created by a dam on the Allier river. The Lake Loop is well established! Inaugurated in October 2019, the developed left bank of the Allier’s edge offers a highly appreciated promenade area for walkers and cyclists. Accessible for people with reduced mobility and offering an unbeatable view of the green expanses of the Parc Omnisports Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in Vichy or the racetrack, it is also a unique opportunity to race against the rowers and other navigators of the Allier lake.
