Gravel Côte de Toul

Turn right at the entrance of Clairlieu to enter the Forêt de Haye. Follow forest roads and emerge shortly before Villey-le-Sec.

Turn left in the village center, bypass the fort, then follow the trail to the road descending towards Chaudeney. Take the first forest road on the right leading to Dommartin-lès-Toul.

Cross Toul and follow the D118 (southwest direction) towards Choloy-Ménillot, then follow the sign towards Domgermain. Cross the railway line and immediately turn left. The small road climbs towards Domgermain. Turn right before reaching the village and climb towards the fort (mobile network antennas). From there follow the trail along the ridge of the Côte de Toul. At Mont-le-Vignoble descend towards Blénod-lès-Toul.

Take the departmental road on the left and cross Blénod. Turn right onto the D11 heading to Bulligny, then left towards Crézilles. Cross the village and continue straight. Take the bridge crossing the highway, then immediately cross the D674 (watch out for cars). The small road leads us through the Bois de Crézilles towards Ochey.

Turn left, then follow along the airbase. Cross the D904 and enter the forest. The trail becomes quite steep then joins the track coming from Bicqueley. Descend (passing a bit above the “Deuille”, the resurgence of an underground river, a beautiful spring after rains) on a rather rough track, then climb towards the Ferme des Gimeys. Here you find the paved road again and follow the Vallée Ste. Anne to Sexey-aux-Forges (former manor, now a guesthouse).

Turn left towards Manon, then return to Clairlieu and Nancy by road.
