Volta PG - Leste

This route has a reasonable distance to be completed in 1 hour cycling faster or in 1:30 hours slower on the climbs. Starting from the Central Terminal, the path is flat along Av Carlos Cavalcanti. Following the "Contorno Leste" there are some short climbs and descents, reaching the lowest point on BR376. The return is entirely uphill to the center, but using D Pedro I (parallel to Visc de Mauá), Barão do Rio Branco, Av dos Vereadores, Av Silva Jardim, and Av Benjamim Constant, the route is much easier than climbing directly via Visc de Mauá. The toughest climb is the first km from Trevo do Vendrami to the roundabout accessing Conj Acácia.
