Ezen túra során a Fertőtó két keleti fürdővárosát lehet megtekinteni. Ilmitz egy nyugodt, családias fürdőhely, ahol minden adott a családok nyári kikapcsolódásához. Kikötő, strandbüfék, játszótér, csónkakölcsönző, nyugágyak.

Podersdorf (Pátfalu) a Fertő legnépszerűbb, legnyüzsgőbb tóparti üdülőhelye jól felszerelt, saját stranddal rendelkező kempinggel, színvonalas strandfürdővel. Az egyetlen olyan település, mely közvetlenül a vízparton fekszik, és strandja nem a nádas közt bújik meg, hanem a nyílt vízfelületre nyílik. Jelképe, és az egész tó talán legikonikusabb építménye a móló végében magasodó piros-fehér csíkozású, északi-tengeri hangulatot idéző világítótorony.
