Pakostane route 4

This circular route begins in Pakoštane and it is demanding. The slow constant climb takes you through the maquis shrubland with views of the coastline. Route, from the sign 537, takes you to the planar part with view of the entire area. The rise follows towards the place of Kakma, which is near a lookout with a beautiful view of the entire area. Route continues to village Vrana and Maškovića Han – most western Ottoman fortress. Renovated Maškovića Han is an ideal place for a break. After Han, route passes near Lake Vrana – a protected nature reserve and ends at the starting point in Pakoštane.
