Rondje Maastricht

Welcome to the beautiful South Limburg, particularly the municipality of Maastricht. The Maastricht loop is a fun, cross-border cycling route, where from the center of Maastricht you ride straight into the greenery of the Maas Valley River Park. You first follow the Dutch green cycling signs and then enter Belgium, where they use blue cycling signs. The center of Maastricht is well worth a visit. The Burgundian Vrijthof, the Bonnefanten Museum, and the historic market are just a small selection of the sights you can discover here.

Cycling along the Maas also never gets boring. The views are sometimes sensational and the peace a relief if you are normally used to a big city. Almost halfway you could stop at the De Fontein Brewery in Stein. This beautifully located brewery is wonderfully set in the greenery. In winter it is cozy by the open fireplace and in summer of course on the terrace.

The junction system ensures you find your way easily. You will be amazed by the beautiful nature, the lovely views, and of course the many terraces to take a break.
